The current Genesi experience is a prototype with fictional adults and simulated interactions. These are the safeguards the production product is being designed around.
Identity checks
Identity, age, photo, and information verification must remain distinct signals.
Private first
Saving a profile does not alert the other person or start a conversation.
Control stays visible
Block, report, unmatch, and revoke-sharing actions must be easy to reach.
Meeting another person
Use your own judgment. Keep early conversations in the product, tell someone you trust about first meetings, choose a public place, arrange your own transportation, and leave if something feels wrong. Emergency situations should be directed to local emergency services.
Co-parenting decisions
A profile is not a background check, fertility evaluation, legal agreement, or parenting assessment. Independent legal, medical, financial, and counseling advice may be appropriate before making commitments.
Genetic information
A result does not replace a clinician or genetic counselor. Sensitive information requires explicit consent, clear context, and revocable access. The prototype does not accept real DNA data.
